On March 8, International Women's Rights Day, four Girls Learn International Chapters visited the United Nations in New York City and took the guided tour: Columbia Preparatory School (New York, NY), Edward R. Murrow School (Brooklyn, NY), Westfield High School (Westfield, NJ), and The Young Women's Leadership School (Bronx, NY). Stops included the General Assembly Hall, Security Council, and the Economic and Social Council. Chapters even glimpsed some of the proceedings accompanying this momentous day.
